Award wining work on a historical NYC building
This year at the 34th Annual Lucy G. Moses Preservation Awards, Klaracon was recognized with a preservation award for work completed on an 1880 neo-Grec mixed-use building in New York City’s Ladies Mile Historic District. These awards honor individuals, organizations, architects, craftspeople and building owners for outstanding preservation.
Klaracon was part of the team restoring the historic façade of 35-37 West 23rd Street. According to company president, Simon Barcoe, while it was an intricate project, the challenge of restoring the building’s original façade was very rewarding, and we are honored to be recognized by the New York Landmarks Conservancy’s Lucy G. Moses Awards. The team at Klaracon managed this tricky project while also ensuring the safe access to the building for commercial tenants and residents.
